Beam Impact Tests |
Beam impact tests have the
purpose of determining the ductility properties of a work
piece.
During a beam impact test the mechanical
deformation, developing until the break, is measured while
the work piece is exposed to a triaxial stress condition.
To create an impact temperature curve, a
test series has to be carried out with the same material at
different temperatures.
