Tensile Tests |
Tensile tests serve the
purpose of determining material properties during uniaxial
tensile stress.
The result is a stress-strain diagram with
a curve progression typical for the respective material.
The identified material properties are consequently
available with a numerical value in combination with the unit
(e.g. tensile strength or yield stress) and represent one
of the most important mechanical parameters of metallic materials.
