Hardness Testings |
Depending on the material,
the previous heat treatment process and the current hardness
different hardness testing methods have to be applied. Common
testing methods are Hardness Testings according to Brinell,
Rockwell and Vicker (diamond pyramide hardness testings).
-> Brinell
Hardness Testing - for annealed and tempered steels, light
metals, and heavy metals.
-> Diamond Pyramid Hardness
Testing - for hardened steels, hardened surfaces and partially
hardened zones.
-> Rockwell Hardness Testing
- for hardened steels and alloys as well as hard metals.
